Soil Pest/Sciarid Control
Sciarid Flies or Fungus Gnats are common pests often found on ornamentals. Whilst adult ies can cause a nuisance, larvae cause signi cant damage by feeding on the plants roots. They burrow up inside the stems of cuttings killing the cutting.

Mealy Bug Control
Mealy Bugs insects are covered with a white waxy powder. They feed in groups puncturing leaves and sucking out plant sap.
• They excrete honeydew that can lead to secondary disease infections such as sooty mould

Cryptoline biological control agent contains Cryptolaemus montrouzieri adults with a feeding strip. Cryptoleamus adults and larvae are predators of mealy bugs (Pseudococcus sp.).
Leaf Miner Control
Adult leaf-miners produce characteristic feeding marks on leaves and lay eggs into some of these. Their solitary larvae feed within the leaf leaving trails or ‘mines’ which grow rapidly. In serious cases the leaf area is reduced enough to affect crop yield and highly visible damage.

Digline biological control agent contains the ectoparasitic wasp, Diglyphus isaea. It specialises in attacking the larval stages of leaf miner pests, such as Liriomyza species L trifolii and L huidobrensis, as well as the chrysanthemum leafminer, Phytomyza syngenesiae.
