WINDBREAK SHADE NETTING
ParafenceTM
ParafenceTM has a proven track record in horticulture and agriculture, where it is used to protect plants and crops from both wind and excessive sunlight. It is also the ideal choice for protecting vulnerable structures, especially glasshouses, from potential wind damage.
Its slatted construction makes it the ideal choice for shade halls, protecting young plants from too much sun whilst allowing them to bene t from intermittent light as the sun passes overhead. At the same time there is little or no interference with rainfall, air movement or access by pollinating insects.

Extruded Windbreak – Standard 60%
This standard windbreak is made from extruded HDPE and is designed to reduce wind speed by approximately 55%. It is the traditional material used for many years.

Mono lament 50 Windbreak
Loktex mono lament 50 is a superior knitted windbreak constructed from high density polyethylene mono lament, it is designed to reduce wind speed by 50%. Supplied as standard with eyelets top and bottom for easy xing and is cost effective and light.

Extruded Windbreak – Heavy Duty 50%
Heavy duty windbreaks are made from extruded HDPE and are designed to reduce wind speed by approximately 55%. The heavy duty is more of a cladding type windbreak material with reinforced strands, making it a much stronger material.

Loktex 85%* Windbreak
Loktex netting incorporates at tape threads and double lock-stitch tear-proof technology. Loktex is made from UV stabilised HDPE and comes with button holes top and bottom making xing much easier. It is the ultimate knitted windproof product, dramatically reducing wind impact speeds to protect crops from wind, water loss, soil erosion, wind-borne diseases and heat loss.
By shading a crop you can control the temperature under a polytunnel allowing for a longer growing season if required.
